Hi, my name is Erik Pöhler and I am a Full-Stack Web Developer. I started blogging with WordPress in late 2005. WordPress was already hugely popular and I started working with version 1.5. After having written my first themes and a couple of plugins, I started my professional career in web development in 2008. For the last 12 years I have lived and worked in Switzerland, the United States, Mexico and Germany. Click this link if you want to know more about my professional experience and technology stack. Unfortunately I never managed to find the time to keep blogging. I missed having an outlet for new findings or a creative outlet but my priorities had changed. Finally, more than a decade later, I decided to simply take that time and get back into blogging in January 2020. This website is the result – my personal WordPress blog.
